Milky Way above Titicaca

The picture has been taken from a little hamlet called 'Llachón' on the Capachica peninsula in Peru. The orange light pollution caused by the Puno town on the opposite bank of the lake Titicaca is still less disturbing than the one we are facing in our Western cities. The dark silhouette at the top left corner is coming from a tree.
