Sting of time nr. 7

Dit project is een manier om om te gaan met de angst om tijd tekort te hebben. Door een nieuwe techniek op mijn proces toe te passen - waarbij ik plantmateriaal van locaties vergaar en verwerk in foto’s van die locatie - wil ik twee dingen bereiken: een extra moment van reflectie creëren waardoor ik bewuster aanwezig kan zijn in het moment van maken en een tastbaardere herinnering aan deze sentimentele plekken om deze beter te kunnen koesteren. - This project is a way to cope with the fear of running out of time. By introducing a new technique to my process - in which I collect plant material from locations and transform them into the photos of that location - I want to achieve two things: creating an extra moment of reflection allows me to be more consciously present in the moment of making and thus results in a more tangible memory of these sentimental places which makes it able to cherish them better.
