Sad beauty

By the will of her parents, who were watching her from 20 meters behind, this little poor hill-tribe child, had to sit in the freezing cold on a bench from 04h00 till 08h00. Tourists, on the route to the top of the mountain, making pictures and dropping some money in front of her. That was the whole thing. Sad Sad Sad! But... we have to switch to an other perspective sometimes. And in this case we have to think about the development these hill-tribes are making through. 5 years ago, the only way they were making money was by farming opium (drugs) plants. And now they are trying to earn money on different ways and hopefully they stay away from drugs. Okay, why this picture? The colorful traditional clothes the child was wearing could not cover the sadness. This is a moment captured in its raw beauty.
