Ibra

This summer I worked for 6 weeks in an orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania. I stayed 24/7 with the children, giving class, help them with homework, played together, ate together, laughed together, cried together. I found the most kind people I ever met, living a totally different life than our way of living. This photograph shows one of the children called 'Ibra' who is standing in front of one of the classrooms in the orphanage. I went to the place where he grew up and saw the circumstances of his youth, memories that you still can read in his eyes. He has been in the orphanage for a couple of years now.
