The Watchers

Something is not right here! Wilhelmina Park, fairly early in the evening. It was still quite warm as the sun had not yet disappeared behind the rooftops. Small groups of people, sprawled out on blankets and cusions, just relaxing, enjoying the company of others, it was cool! But then these guys caught my eye, not because of what they did but because of what they didn't do. They were virtually motionless, for what seemed like an eternity. For neary thirtyfive minutes they just stood there, not talking, just staring, staring at the people. It was odd, I like odd.
