Café Plana
Hall of the Second Empire, probably fitted out around 1862. The ceiling consists of nine boxes separated by thick beams. The boxes are decorated with circular or diamond-shaped medallions, distributed along two perpendicular axes of symmetry which intersect at the center of the composition. The ornamental repertoire is plant-based: vine leaves, clusters, vine branches, oak leaves, laurel. The corners of the two diamond medallions are occupied by small female busts placed in pendants. The whole is enhanced with colors. The walls of the room are punctuated by fluted pilasters loaded with a console composed of a female figure in Atlantis. The panels defined by the pilasters are occupied by tables. The rear wall of the room is pierced by two semi-circular transom doors. Their woodwork pedestals are made up of fluted pilasters with ionic capitals.
