A usual marketday in Tana Toraja Indonesia.

The local market is always and everywhere a fantastic place to meet the local people. To see the normal life, behaviours, culture and food from that area. On the market people are not in hurry and do meet each other there for social life. People from the country- side do go there to sell their products but also to buy their needs for the coming week. It's one big theatre with allot different actors. Tana Toraja is in the highland on the island Sulawesi in Indonesia. It's famous because there traditional funerals where they offer allot Pigs and Kerbau's. Every 6 days there is a marketday, people from the kampungs do come to buy or sell the Kerbau's and Pigs for the funeral or weddings.
